 Sarah Hamilton

Sarah has been riding at Wall Equestrian for 7 years. Her parents worked on the racetrack with thoroughbreds so she was around horses before she could even walk. Currently Sarah is a junior in Point Boro High School. Sarah is great with young children and incredibly attentive and creative while she teaches.

While Sarah has been at Wall she has been a working student for 6 years. She also owns Concert Classic. Concert was a green horse who came off the track and now is jumping 3’3 courses competitively.

Two years ago when Kimberly Meckes came to Wall Equestrian Sarah began working and training with her. Sarah quickly moved up the ranks and has been the head working student for the past year. She has also been in intensive training with Kim to fulfill her dream of becoming an instructor.

One of Sarah’s jobs has been training all the working students at Wall. Our working students are taught how to interact with all the students in a friendly, positive manner. They are taught all the aspects of good horsemanship from basic handling of the horses to advanced techniques. This takes time and patience and Sarah certainly has gone above and beyond for the program at Wall.

Sarah also has also lessoned with Helen Goddard. She loves horses and wants to go to an equine college to ride and go into an equine related job.
